Role Overview

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Private Equity Fund Accountant with hands‑on experience in Allvue, Everest, or Black Mountain. The role will be responsible for end‑to‑end fund accounting activities across private equity structures, ensuring accurate financial reporting, investor allocations, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform end‑to‑end fund accounting for Private Equity funds, including:
• Capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations
• NAV calculation and review
• Management fees, carried interest, and expense allocations
• Investor statements and capital account reports
• Maintain and operate fund accounting systems such as Allvue / Everest / Black Mountain
• Coordinate with internal teams (Operations, Treasury, Compliance) and external parties:
• Auditors
• Administrators
• Support audit processes and respond to auditor queries efficiently
• Ensure compliance with GAAP / IFRS and fund documentation (LPAs)
• Assist in system enhancements, process improvements, and automation initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in Private Equity Fund Accounting
• Mandatory hands‑on experience with Allvue/Everest/Black Mountain
• Strong understanding of:
• Private Equity fund structures
• Capital accounting and waterfall calculations
• NAV and investor reporting
• Advanced Excel skills: exposure to reporting tools is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
