Job summary

Idexcel is seeking a Principle Engineer – Agentic AI (Transforming Lending) to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-grade AI-enabled lending solutions. You will guide architecture, mentor engineers, and partner with product teams to translate AI innovations into scalable software.

The role requires 10+ years of software experience, strong NLP/ML expertise, and hands-on mastery of Java, Python, cloud platforms such as AWS, and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience designing enterprise-grade applications.

Principle Engineer – Agentic AI (Transforming Lending)

• Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Experience: 10+ years of software engineering experience, with a proven track record of designing and building complex, enterprise-grade applications.

AI/ML Expertise:

• Deep understanding of AI/ML principles, particularly in the area of Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic systems.
• Experience in developing and deploying AI agents using frameworks and tools.
• Strong knowledge of natural language processing (NLP), machine learning, and deep learning techniques.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, React.js, and Angular.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Strong cloud computing experience, particularly with AWS.
• Experience with software development best practices, including version control (Git), CI/CD, and testing.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex challenges into manageable solutions.
• Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Leadership: Proven ability to provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to other engineers.
