Job summary

Harman International in Bengaluru seeks an experienced BSP Architect / Platform Lead to drive development and integration of automotive BSPs and system software. You will define architecture, lead board bring-up, oversee virtualization, and manage subsystem integration with a focus on safety and performance.

The role requires 8–14 years in the field, strong leadership, and deep ownership of complex in-vehicle platforms, with hybrid work options and exposure to CAN/SOME-IP integration.

Qualifications

• 8–14 years of experience in BSP/platform software engineering.
• Strong BSP, bootloader and kernel expertise required.
• Experience with virtualization and multi-OS integration (QNX/Linux/Android).
• Sub-system bring-up knowledge (camera, display, etc.) and safety/RTOS exposure.

Responsibilities

• Define BSP architecture and boot flow.
• Drive board bring-up and silicon validation.
• Lead virtualization and multi-OS integration efforts.
