Syneos Health in India seeks a Principal Workforce Analyst to lead workforce analytics, reporting, and predictive modeling across HR and business functions.
You will develop dashboards in Power BI, build models for attrition and demand forecasting, and collaborate with IT and leadership to drive evidence-based decisions. This senior role requires strong statistical skills, SQL, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Shift Timings: 02PM to 11 PM IST
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, Analytics, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
Master's degree preferred.
Preferred: 8+ years of overall analytics experience.
Minimum: 5+ years of relevant experience in workforce analytics, HR analytics, business analytics, people analytics, or a related analytical discipline.
Demonstrated experience building predictive or statistical models in a business environment.
Advanced knowledge of statistical modeling and predictive analytics.
Hands-on experience with Logistic Regression, Random Forest, KNN, and comparable analytical techniques.
Strong Power BI capability, including data modeling, DAX, dashboard development, and visualization.
Advanced SQL skills with the ability to query and manipulate large datasets.
Experience working with enterprise data warehouses, data marts, or similar data environments.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong stakeholder management and consulting capability.
Ability to translate technical findings into clear business insights.
Experience presenting to senior leadership or executive audiences.
Strong business acumen and ability to work effectively in a global, matrixed environment.
Develop and deliver workforce analytics, dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting solutions.
Analyze workforce trends including headcount, attrition, hiring, internal mobility, talent availability, and organizational effectiveness.
Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and business leaders to identify reporting and analytics requirements.
Translate complex workforce data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
Design, build, validate, and deploy predictive analytics models that support workforce decision-making.
Develop predictive solutions for employee attrition risk, hiring demand forecasting, workforce planning, talent supply and demand, and organization trends.
Apply statistical and machine learning techniques including Logistic Regression, Random Forest, K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), classification models, regression techniques, and segmentation or clustering.
Evaluate model performance, document assumptions and limitations, and communicate business implications to stakeholders.
Build scalable data models and reporting frameworks using Power BI and SQL.
Partner with IT and data engineering teams to strengthen data quality and analytics infrastructure.
Promote consistent metric definitions, data integrity, documentation, and governance across reporting solutions.
