Job summary

Skylo in Bengaluru is hiring a hands-on Senior Specialist to own the NTN roaming settlement architecture, pricing constructs, and external standards work at scale. You will translate complex standards into auditable operating models, coordinating with Finance, Product, Network, Legal, and Sales to deliver reliable settlement processes.

This on-site role is 3 days a week in the office in Bangalore. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in wholesale roaming, strong GSMA engagement, and deep experience

Qualifications

• 8+ years in wholesale roaming billing, settlement, or telecom standards.
• Advanced technical knowledge of TAP3, RAP, BCE and CDR/mediation.
• Deep understanding of PLMN, TADIG, IMSI roaming identities and routing.
• Experience developing wholesale pricing or financial models for billing controls.
• Credibility representing operators or tech providers in GSMA forums.

Responsibilities

• Architect routing logic for accurate CDR, mediation, and reconciliation.
• Define routing to prevent leakage and ensure correct clearing.
• Oversee daily reconciliation cadence and dispute root-cause analysis.
• Design NTN wholesale pricing frameworks aligned to billing methods.
• Manage technical execution with DCH/FCH partners and NRTRDE controls.
• Represent Skylo in GSMA working groups and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

About The Role

Skylo’s multi-TADIG, multi-PLMN, and multi-clearing-house footprint creates complex settlement combinations that legacy roaming processes were not designed to handle. We are hiring a hands-on Senior Specialist to own the settlement architecture, wholesale pricing constructs, clearing strategy, and external standards work needed for NTN (Non-Terrestrial Network) roaming at scale. You will act as our deep subject matter expert to turn complex standards and numbering dependencies into clean operating models.

Responsibilities

• Architect Routing Logic: Design and maintain accurate CDR, mediation, TAP/RAP/BCE, and reconciliation flows across every relevant TADIG × PLMN × DCH/FCH combination.
• Prevent Leakage: Define routing and control logic so data usage reaches the correct clearing partner and settlement entity cleanly without leakage or duplication.
• Oversee Reconciliation: Manage the daily reconciliation cadence, control totals, dispute handling, root-cause analysis, and executive reporting.
• Design Pricing Frameworks: Build and structure NTN wholesale pricing mechanisms—including activation, usage, and tiering constructs—mapping them directly to feasible billing methods.
• Manage Clearing Vendors: Handle the technical execution strategy for DCH/FCH partners, clearing setups, NRTRDE controls, and ongoing service performance.
• Industry Representation: Represent Skylo within active GSMA working groups, including WSOLU, IDSBCE, BCE, and NRG NTN.
• Cross-Functional Partnering: Partner internally with Finance, Product, BSS, Network, Legal, and Sales to convert commercial intent into implementable, auditable settlement processes.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in wholesale roaming billing, network settlement, clearing, revenue assurance, or telecommunications standards.
• Advanced technical knowledge of TAP3, RAP, BCE, CDR/mediation flows, DCH/FCH operations, and dispute management.
• Deep understanding of PLMN, TADIG, IMSI network numbering, roaming identities, and their direct impact on routing and settlement.
• Proven experience developing wholesale pricing or financial models and converting them into operational billing controls.
• Solid professional credibility representing an operator or technology provider inside GSMA or comparable standards forums.
• Strong cross-functional coordination skills with an ability to create workable mechanisms where industry standards are incomplete.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with NTN, NB-IoT, IoT roaming, NRTRDE, or multi-TADIG and multi-PLMN architectures.
• Familiarity with major clearing platforms, GSMA portals, BigQuery/SQL, Jira, and Confluence.
• Past experience negotiating clearing relationships or influencing global industry specifications.
