Job summary

Cundall India in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer with 12+ years to lead delivery of prestigious projects in the MENA region and beyond.

You will mentor engineers, manage client relationships, and collaborate across disciplines to produce technically excellent and sustainable designs, including concrete and steel.

Qualifications

• Chartered engineer with IStructE preferred.
• Degree in Structural Engineering required.
• Proven consultancy experience in structural projects.
• Hands-on experience with ETABS, SAFE and Robot.
• Knowledge of ASCE, IBC, ACI, AISC and Saudi building codes.
• Experience leading teams and delivering profitable projects.
• Strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineers and technicians to deliver technically excellent projects.
• Manage client relationships to maximise satisfaction.
• Mentor and develop less experienced engineers.
• Coordinate documentation in BIM workflows (Revit/BIM 360).

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and client focused Structural Engineer with 12 + years of experience based at our Bengaluru office, to play a leading role in the successful delivery of some of the most exciting and prestigious construction projects in the MENA (Middle East North Africa) region and internationally.

You will take a senior role within a team of expert engineers and technicians and work closely with colleagues of various disciplines to manage the delivery of technically excellent, profitable projects.

You will have the opportunity to nurture relationships with in the Cundall team and develop client relationships that maximise satisfaction and ensure repeat business and will use your wealth of expertise and determination to manage, motivate and develop less experienced engineers.

The Skills

You will ideally be Chartered preferably with IStructE and educated to degree level in Structural Engineering.

You will have gained significant practical experience of structural engineering within a consultancy environment, and an accomplished level of relevant IT skills in structural design software.

In your most recent position, you have consistently demonstrated your ability to manage multiple large-scale projects, lead engineering teams of less experienced engineers to deliver to and exceed client expectations.

You will be required to possess excellent and hands‑on experience of analytical software such as ETABS, SAFE and Robot etc and you possess sound knowledge of managing teams delivering and coordinating documentation in the Revit/BIM 360 platform.

You have proven ability to produce creative design solutions in multiple materials including reinforced concrete and steel. Crucially, you will have a passion for creative, sustainable and intuitive design. In addition, knowledge and practical experience of American codes such as ASCE, IBC, ACI, AISC and Saudi Building codes are required.

You should possess experience in resource planning and supporting project managers in costing and delivering profitable projects and have strong experience using the MS Office portfolio of software.
