Job summary

A leading material handling solutions provider is seeking an experienced professional to manage import procurement in India. Responsibilities include using SAP for procurement and ensuring delivery punctuality. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years in mechanical or electrical manufacturing, along with strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Candidates with a background in global procurement/import and a maximum notice period of 45 days will be preferred.

Job Description

• Hands on experience in SAP, able to handle intra group import procurement.
• Responsible for conversion of PR-PO within 48 hours.
• Responsible for delivery punctuality.
• Able to solve issues related to Quality, Goods Receipt, BL, Invoice deviation, IDPMS etc.
• Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking, coordinating with logistics for timely delivery.
• Reconcile invoices with the accounts department.
• Updating of Info Record, source list in SAP.
• Submission of MIS as and when required.
• Knowledge of ERP software (e.g., SAP) and MS Office (Excel) is often required.
• Adherence to company policy and compliance.
• Research, identify, and evaluate potential vendors; maintain relationships with existing suppliers to ensure reliability.
• Awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 Standards.

Additional Information

Location: Hinjewadi

We prefer candidate who is working in Mechanical/Automobile/Electrical manufacturing MNC. Notice period should be maximum 45 days. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Candidate must have strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Exposure to global procurement/import is mandatory.
