Job summary

SingleStore is seeking Solution Engineers in Pune to act as trusted technical experts for customers evaluating our unified data platform. You will identify technical requirements, craft high‑quality demos, and demonstrate how SingleStore enables real‑time transactions, analytics, and search at scale.

You will partner with Enterprise Account Executives to win new logos and expand existing accounts. You will design and deploy POCs, lead the technical evaluation stage, and collaborate with Product,

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s Degree in CS or a relevant technical field.
• Experience delivering Proofs of Concept (POCs) and customer demos.
• Strong understanding of distributed database tech and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with prospects and customers to understand industries and educate them on SingleStore’s strategy, technologies and vision.

Position Overview

Solution Engineers (SEs) at SingleStore are solving some of the most cutting‑edge technical challenges in today’s data-driven world. When customers evaluate SingleStore, SEs are their trusted technical experts who evaluate, identify, and demonstrate how SingleStore can solve their mission‑critical business needs. As key contributors to our sales organization, Solution Engineers add tremendous value to the customer journey and directly impact company growth and revenue.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying the technical requirements necessary to deliver business value for our Fortune 1,000 customers. Working in partnership with Enterprise Account Executives, you will help to acquire new customers and expand existing accounts. You will do this by leveraging your technical skill set and business acumen to understand complex solutions and create high-quality demos that resonate with our customers.

Role And Responsibilities

• Partner with Prospects and Customers to understand their industries and strategies, and educate them on SingleStores strategy, technologies and vision.
• Partner with Account Executives to close new business (logos) and expand existing accounts
• Partner with internal teams (Product, Engineering, Support, Marketing etc.) to share feedback on customer needs and requests
• Design, develop, and deploy Proofs of Concept (POCs) with prospective customers
• Drive the technical evaluation stage of the sales cycle, acting as the technical lead/subject matter expert (query tuning, load testing, etc.)
• Work to develop Channels and Partners for co‑selling in the region.

Required Skills And Experience

• Fluency in English and regional languages
• Experience with Gen AI, ML and Advanced Analytics
• Experience successfully selling enterprise database technologies, distributed systems, and similar products
• Deep understanding of distributed database technologies, including both analytic and transactional processing
• Expertise executing POCs, with experience designing and deploying complex technologies into existing customer environments
• In‑Depth understanding of data platforms, including various competitive products (Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, MongoDB, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.)
• Experienced in cloud and containerized environments, deployment and orchestration (including Linux and Kubernetes environments)
• Proficient programming skills in Python, Java, or other programming languages
• Ability to travel within the region and internationallyBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a relevant technical field
