Job summary

Snowflake in Bangalore, India is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to turn data and AI priorities into measurable business outcomes. You will blend deep technical expertise with consultative discovery and executive communication to shape secure, scalable solutions on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud.

You will lead discovery, design architectures, demonstrate value, and mentor peers, partnering with cross-functional teams to accelerate customer success in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant experience in solutions engineering, data architecture, cloud platforms, analytics, or equivalent client-facing technical role.
• Strong foundation in data warehousing, data engineering, analytics, cloud architecture, and enterprise security.
• Experience leading technical discovery and designing solutions for complex enterprise requirements.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to engineers, architects, business leaders, and executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with customers and translate business priorities into architectures on Snowflake AI Data Cloud.
• Design and demonstrate solutions using Snowflake capabilities (Cortex AI, Snowpark, Dynamic Tables, Streamlit) and secure data sharing.
• Build proofs of concept validating performance, governance, interoperability, and business value.
• Advise on modernizing data platforms and migrating workloads while reducing complexity.
• Partner with Account Executives, Product Management, Services, and partners to develop account strategies and remove barriers.
• Guide stakeholders on security, governance, privacy, and responsible AI patterns.
• Influence decision makers via architecture narratives, workshops, and value-focused presentations.
• Mentor peers and contribute reusable assets to improve regional execution.

We are hiring a Senior Solutions Engineer to help customers across India turn complex data and AI priorities into measurable business outcomes. You will combine deep technical expertise, consultative discovery, and executive communication to shape secure, scalable solutions on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud.

AS A SENIOR SOLUTIONS ENGINEER AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:

• Lead technical discovery with customers and translate business priorities into architectures built on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud.

• Design and demonstrate solutions using Snowflake capabilities such as Cortex AI, Snowpark, Dynamic Tables, Streamlit in Snowflake, and secure data sharing.

• Build proofs of concept that validate performance, governance, interoperability, and business value for high-priority customer workloads.

• Advise customers on modernizing data platforms and migrating analytical workloads to Snowflake while reducing complexity and operational overhead.

• Partner with Account Executives, Product Management, Professional Services, and Snowflake partners to develop account strategies and remove technical barriers.

• Guide customer stakeholders on security, governance, privacy, and responsible AI patterns using Snowflake Horizon and related platform controls.

• Influence technical and executive decision makers through clear architecture narratives, workshops, demonstrations, and value-focused presentations.

• Mentor Solutions Engineering peers and contribute reusable field assets, reference architectures, and product feedback that improve execution across the region.

OUR IDEAL SENIOR SOLUTIONS ENGINEER WILL HAVE:

• 12+ years of relevant experience in solutions engineering, data architecture, cloud platforms, analytics, or an equivalent customer-facing technical role.

• A strong foundation in data warehousing, data engineering, analytics, cloud architecture, and enterprise security.

• Experience leading technical discovery and designing solutions for complex enterprise requirements.

• The ability to explain technical concepts clearly to engineers, architects, business leaders, and executives.

• Hands-on proficiency with SQL and at least one major cloud platform as supporting capabilities for solution design and validation.

• A record of influencing customer decisions through consultative problem solving, demonstrations, and proofs of concept.

• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to lead across sales, product, services, partners, and customer teams without direct authority.

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

BONUS POINTS FOR THE FOLLOWING:

• Experience with Snowflake, Cortex AI, Snowpark, Streamlit in Snowflake, or native application development.

• Familiarity with GenAI architectures, retrieval-augmented generation, model governance, and AI-assisted solution engineering workflows.

• Experience supporting data platform modernization or migration programs in large enterprises.

• Knowledge of data governance, security, privacy, and regulatory considerations relevant to customers in India.

• Experience mentoring technical presales professionals or leading cross-account technical initiatives.
