Key Objectives

• Design & Implementation of Tuner component in Android HAL layer (C++)
• Design & Implementation of Android Framework and Application (Java)
• Design & Implementation of Tuner Driver Library - AMFM/DAB/SDARS/HD (C++)

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Implementation of Tuner component in Android HAL layer (C++)
• Design & Implementation of Android Framework and Application (Java)
• Design & Implementation of Tuner Driver Library - AMFM/DAB/SDARS/HD (C++)

Key Performance Indicators

• Implementation of features in a modular fashion, Unit testing the development
• Perform structured root-cause analysis on tuner defects and implement targeted fixes

Key Year One Deliverables

• Test driven development – Implementation of features and end-to-end testing

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

• Master’s / bachelor’s degree in computer/electronics engineering
• 3-12 years of relevant experience, preferably in regional or global environment
• Experience collaborating with Executive Team and Business Leaders
• Strong coding skills in C++/Java
• RTOS & OS (Linux/Android) experience
• Embedded hardware understanding, datasheet, schematics
• Experience with tuner technologies AMFM/DAB/SDARS/DRM/IBOC
• Exposure to RF tools like signal generators, Audio precision analyzers
• Experience with Git
• Experience with design tools like Rhapsody/Visio

Reporting Structure

Candidate would report to Software Project Manager who has experience in tuner technologies, Android tuner development, multiple program delivery.
