We seek a senior Java/J2EE expert in Bengaluru to design, develop, and deploy enterprise identity cloud solutions. You will collaborate across teams, implement best engineering practices, and lead multiple

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Java/J2EE technologies.
• Hands-on Java/J2EE with Spring, Hibernate, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Proficiency with RDBMS design, queries, performance tuning, and stored procedures.
• Experience with code repositories and debugging tools.
• Drive engineering practices: estimation, design/code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD.
• UI basics: HTML, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Strong DB knowledge and performance troubleshooting.
• Experience building AI-driven, multi-agent systems preferred.
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration.
• Ability to lead multiple teams in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU BRING

• 15+ yrs of experience in Java/J2ee technologies.
• Hands-on experience of Java/J2EE, core Java concepts (multithreading, design patterns using Java, collections etc.), Spring, Hibernate, Groovy and Grails preferred and building web services using REST/SOAP APIs java based distributed systems.
• Proficiency with RDBMS Server in designing and optimizing queries, performance tuning and stored procedures.
• Good hands-on experience with Code Repository tools and Java debugging tools.
• Drive technical excellence and implementation of best engineering practices such as estimation review, design review, code review, unit testing, continuous integration/development.
• UI Development: Basic understanding of UI, HTML, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Database Expertise: Strong DB knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve locking issues and performance bottlenecks.
• API Management: Experience managing concurrency, rate limiting, throttling, and API performance.
• Bulk Processing: Handling bulk executions, file uploads, and large-scale data processing efficiently.
• Experience in building LLM/AI-driven systems, ideally with multi-agent orchestration.
• Active, deliberate use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or comparable) as part of your daily workflow — beyond autocomplete.
• Proficiency in AI frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, Transformers).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering. MS or Masters in Information Technology preferred.
• Data-driven decision maker.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with other teams across the organization.
• Ability to work effectively and achieve results across functional areas in a work environment with a high rate of change.
• Ability to manage multiple teams and initiatives providing a consistent record of all activities while handling confidential work with discretion.
• Extensive hands-on experience building and managing the development of complex, large scale enterprise applications and products with resilience and reliability.
• Proven experience in team management, attracting, hiring, retaining and leading top engineering talent and high-performance product engineering teams.
• Strong written, verbal communications, presentation skills, leadership, problem solving and analytical skills.
