Job summary

Mphasis in Bengaluru, India seeks a senior SAP Finance functional lead for RTR with 6+ years of SAP Finance implementation experience and 5+ years supporting SAP S/4HANA.

You will design and configure SAP S/4HANA Finance modules including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, COPA, Group Reporting, and DRC to enable eInvoicing and regulatory reporting. Strong stakeholder management and SOX/IFRS knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of SAP Finance implementation experience with at least 5 years supporting SAP S/4HANA.
• Deep functional expertise across SAP Record to Report processes.
• Hands-on experience with Universal Journal, General Ledger, AP,_AR, Asset Accounting, Material Ledger, Product Costing, COPA, CC/PC, Intercompany Accounting, Financial Close, Group Reporting, DRC, and RAR.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Global Capability Center functional lead for SAP Record to Report (RTR).
• Support the Finance Solution Lead and Business Process Owners in delivering SAP S/4HANA Finance capabilities.
• Lead solution design, configuration, and support for SAP S/4HANA Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, etc.).
• Lead design and support of DRC solutions for eInvoicing, statutory and tax reporting across global operations.
• Own configuration and process design for Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) ensuring ASC 606/IFRS 15 compliance.
• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA 2023 or later releases.
• Strong SOX controls, IFRS, US GAAP understanding.

Job description

• Serve as the Global Capability Center functional lead for SAP Record to Report (RTR).
• Support the Finance Solution Lead and Business Process Owners in delivering SAP S/4HANA Finance capabilities.

• Lead the design, configuration, and support of SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) solutions to enable electronic invoicing (eInvoicing), statutory reporting, tax reporting, and country-specific regulatory compliance across global operations.
• Own configuration and process design for SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR), ensuring accurate revenue recognition per ASC 606/IFRS 15 across performance obligations and contract structures
• 6+ years of SAP Finance implementation experience with at least 5 years supporting SAP S/4HANA.
• Deep functional expertise across SAP Record to Report processes.

• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA 2023 or later releases.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC), including electronic invoicing (eInvoicing), statutory reporting, and digital tax compliance. Experience implementing country-specific DRC requirements and integrating with indirect tax processes is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience including direct configuration or functional ownership of Revenue Account Recognition (RAR)
• Strong understanding of legal entities, organizational structures, fiscal year variants, ledgers, currencies, accounting principles, and financial master data.
• Experience with finance data migration, reconciliation, and cutover planning.
• Knowledge of SAP Integration Suite, APIs, IDocs, and finance integration patterns.
• Strong understanding of SOX controls, audit requirements, IFRS, US GAAP, and statutory reporting.
• Experience working in a Global Capability Center or offshore delivery organization supporting global stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline.
