Qualifications

• SEBI eligibility criteria for Principal Officer of a Portfolio Manager.
• 3–6 years in Indian financial services, mutual funds, broking, or asset management operations/compliance.
• Strong integrity, reliability, and attention to detail with a long-term commitment.
• Technical literacy with financial software and Excel.

Responsibilities

• SEBI & regulatory compliance as designated Principal Officer, filings and PMS guidelines.

Role & responsibilities

• SEBI & Regulatory Compliance: Act as the designated Principal Officer ensuring standard regulatory filings, periodic reporting, and adherence to PMS guidelines.
• Day-to-Day Operations: Manage routine fund accounting, portfolio reconciliations, custodian/broker coordination, and client onboarding workflows.
• Trade Execution Support: Oversee smooth order placement, execution tracking, and timely settlement workflows.
• Process Building: Take ownership of building, documenting, and refining internal operational and compliance checklists as the firm grows.
• Audits & Documentation: Coordinate routine compliance audits and maintain meticulous records.

Preferred candidate profile

• SEBI Eligibility: Must meet the baseline professional and experience criteria mandated by SEBI to officially qualify as a Principal Officer for a Portfolio Manager.
• Experience Level: 3 to 6 years of experience in Indian financial services, mutual funds, broking, or asset management operations/compliance. (Candidates who meet baseline SEBI criteria and are eager for stability are welcome).
