Job summary

Alcon is seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions that meet business needs. The role requires deep Salesforce knowledge and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You will lead Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components development, integrate with external systems, ensure data security, and mentor junior developers in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 6+ years of Salesforce development experience with CPQ.
• Strong Apex, Visualforce, LWC, and integration skills.
• Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions that meet the needs of our business. This position requires a deep understanding of Salesforce technologies and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
• Integrate Salesforce with other internal and external applications.
• Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce applications.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure data integrity and security within the Salesforce environment.

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in Salesforce development with CPQ skills.
• Strong expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce integration.
• Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud , Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred

• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II).
• Experience with Salesforce CPQ and Billing.
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
