Job summary

Summary of Position: We are seeking a highly skilled and hands‑on Gen AI Architect/Lead AI Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise‑scale AI solutions. This role combines technical leadership, solution architecture, and active engineering contributions across Generative AI, Agentic AI, Intelligent Automation, and Enterprise AI platforms. This role requires a hands‑on technical leader who is expected to actively contribute to architecture, prototyping, development, code reviews, and solution delivery while providing technical leadership across AI initiatives. The ideal candidate will define architectural direction, mentor development teams, partner with business stakeholders, and deliver scalable, secure, and production‑ready AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership & Architecture Act as the technical lead and architect for enterprise AI initiatives while remaining actively involved in solution development.
• Conduct feasibility assessments and define the optimal delivery approach using No-Code/Low-Code platforms (Copilot Studio, Power Platform) or Pro-Code solutions built on AWS and Azure.
• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable architectures for Generative AI, Agentic AI, RAG, and intelligent automation solutions.
• Establish and govern engineering standards, architecture patterns, testing frameworks, security controls, and deployment practices.
• Lead architecture reviews, technical design discussions, and technology selection decisions.
• Translate business requirements into end‑to‑end technical solution designs.
• Partner with Business Technology Partners, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to evaluate AI opportunities, shape solution roadmaps, and define implementation strategies.
• Lead AI initiatives through the complete lifecycle, including discovery, solution design, development, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and continuous optimization.
• Mentor engineers, foster engineering excellence, and promote continuous learning and innovation.

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree with 7-10+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years architecting and leading production‑grade AI, GenAI, or intelligent automation solutions.
• Experience delivering enterprise‑scale AI solutions in regulated environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead distributed engineering teams and drive technical excellence.
• Experience evaluating emerging AI technologies and defining enterprise adoption strategies.

Required Technical Skills

• Cloud & Platform Expertise Microsoft Azure Ecosystem Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, etc.) Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Azure Functions Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• AWS Amazon Bedrock OpenSearch Lambda ECS/EKS API Gateway S3 CloudWatch Step Functions AWS IDP.
• Gen AI & Agentic AI Proven experience designing and implementing: Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) applications Multi‑Agent Systems and AI orchestration frameworks Enterprise AI platforms and reusable AI capabilities Strong understanding of LLM evaluation, guardrails, testing, observability, and Responsible AI practices.
• AI Frameworks & Technologies LangGraph, LangChain, Semantic Kernel Model Context Protocol (MCP) Agent orchestration and tool‑calling frameworks Prompt engineering and AI workflow design Vector databases and semantic search technologies.
• Integration & Engineering REST APIs and microservices architecture Event‑driven architectures Enterprise application integration patterns Docker and Kubernetes CI/CD and DevOps practices.
