Job summary

Sofomation is seeking an Earth Scientist - Asset Business Delivery (Geo Modellers / Geoscience) in India. The role requires leading static model building, integrating geological and geophysical interpretations, and delivering high-quality reservoir management outputs.

You will work with advanced 3D modelling and volumetric assessment techniques to support asset delivery. The candidate should have 12+ years of hands-on Oil & Gas experience, strong geologic/geophysical foundations, and proficiency

Qualifications

• 12+ years’ hands‑on experience in Oil and Gas with a broad Geologic and Geophysical technical foundation.
• Domain knowledge relevant to the energy sector and working knowledge of Oil and Gas value chain (e.g., upstream, midstream, or downstream).
• Candidates should have a proven ability to develop integrated interpretations across Geological, Geophysical and Petrophysical data sets and deliver high-quality reservoir management work products and project deliverables.
• Fluency in Petrel or similar software is required.
