Job summary

bp in Pune invites an experienced Geophysicist to lead CSEM modelling, survey design, and integration of CSEM with seismic and well data. You will support rock physics, seismic reservoir characterisation, and technical delivery across global teams.

This hybrid role offers relocation within India, up to 10% travel, and opportunities to grow into technical leadership while contributing to quality assurance of geophysical products.

Qualifications

• Geophysics or Geoscience degree from a recognised university.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant applied geophysics experience with CSEM knowledge.
• Strong hands-on experience in CSEM/EM modelling, inversion and interpretation.
• Experience with CSEM survey design, feasibility studies and resistivity model building.
• Experience working in Linux/HPC environments.
• Experience with CSEM modelling/inversion software such as EMGS tools or equivalent.
• Experience integrating CSEM with seismic, well and geological data.

Responsibilities
