Job summary

State Street's TradeNeXus division seeks a Senior Developer to build next-generation web applications for FX post-trade solutions, focusing on trading, confirmation, and SWIFT messaging for asset managers and counterparties.

You will work with GlobalLink, a division of State Street Global Markets, collaborating with product, QA, and other developers to deliver high-quality, visually rich interfaces using React, TypeScript, and modern web tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer science or related degree.
• 12+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• 4+ years Experience with web development technologies (JavaScript) and ReactJS.
• 4+ years of experience building REST APIs using NodeJS/Java stack.
• Practical knowledge of webpack, storybook, NPM, babel, gulp and yarn.
• Strong familiarity with Redux, React Hooks, NodeJS.
• Keen eye for visual web design and passion for using modern techniques to create visually rich and interactive experience.
• Passionate about building excellent software with customer focus and empathy.
• Team player with a thirst to learn, sense of urgency, and ownership and thrive in fast-paced environment.

TradeNeXus is seeking a Senior Developer to help build the next generation of web applications that will have a meaningful impact on our customers and our business. TradeNeXus (also known as GTSS and FX Connect Trade Services) is an award-winning post-trade solution developed primarily for asset managers and their counterparties that provides technology and workflows to support electronic matching, confirmation, and SWIFT messaging for foreign exchange (FX) and money-market transactions.

TradeNeXus is a part of the GlobalLink suite of market-leading e-trading platforms, technology, data, and workflow solutions from State Street Global Markets (SSGM).

What You Will Be Responsible For

Core/Must Have Skills

• 4+ years of experience building REST APIs using NodeJS/Java stack.
• Practical knowledge of web tooling such as webpack, storybook, NPM, babel, gulp and yar.
• Strong familiarity with modern web development tools and patterns e.g. Redux, React Hooks, NodeJS.
• Keen eye for visual web design and passion for using modern techniques to create visually rich and interactive experience.
• Passionate about building excellent software with customer focus and empathy.
• Team player with a thirst to learn, sense of urgency, and ownership and thrive in fast-paced environment.

Good To Have Skills

• Experience working with NoSQL Database
• Experience with ElectronJS, Finsemble or OpenFin containers
• Knowledge of container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes
• Some experience in reactive libraries like RxJS (edited)
