Job summary

Tekskills is seeking a Principal Engineer for SIP protocol in a hybrid role across Bangalore, Chennai, and Pune. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in telecom voice systems and SIP-based architectures. You will lead IMS migration efforts, work with SBCs, media gateways and softswitches, and design scalable cloud-native voice solutions.

Strong focus on call flows, session management and SIP signaling troubleshooting to ensure optimal call performance across carrier networks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in telecom voice systems and SIP-based architectures.
• Strong expertise in SIP protocol, call flows, and session management.
• Experience with IMS platform migration or replacement, ideally involving Ericsson IMS.
• Deep understanding of call processing logic, routing and signaling across voice networks.
• Hands-on experience with SBCs, media gateways and softswitches.
