Job summary

Growth For Impact invites engineers to join a team focused on substation automation projects in Pune. The role entails designing SCADA and SAS architectures, interpreting SLDs, and aligning project configuration with utility guidelines.

You'll collaborate with electrical and control teams to ensure robust interfaces and reliable data flows. Candidates should master protection concepts, IEC standards, and industrial Ethernet, RS232/RS485, PLCC; experience with RTU/HMI is valued.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic protection for substations, power transformers, and generators.
• Understanding of RSTP, PRP, and HSR architectures.
• Familiarity with Ethernet switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Knowledge of communication media: Ethernet, fiber optic, serial RS232/RS485, PLCC.
• Proficiency with substation automation and communication protocols: SNMP, SNTP, Modbus, IEC60870-5-103, IEC61850, IEC60870-5-101, IEC60870-5-104.
• Experience with RTU, SAS, CRP panels, and HMI functionalities.
• Knowledge of PLCC and FOTE systems.
• Understanding of cyber security, CEA grid compliance, and Load Dispatch Centre interface of plant.
