Job summary

Wood seeks an experienced offshore structural lead to guide jacket and topside projects from design through installation. You will oversee fatigue, seismic and non-linear analysis, and lead a team of engineers on brownfield modifications and pre-service schemes. Proficiency in SACS, STAAD Pro, ANSYS and related tools is essential.

Strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is required. The role involves reviewing drawings, WCRs and MTOs, and ensuring safe, feasible lift and transport

Qualifications

• Experienced in Offshore Green field projects (Jackets & Topsides) as Lead/Area Lead.
• Familiar with jacket brown field modifications and installation feasibility.
• Proficient in advanced structural analysis (Spectral Fatigue, Pushover/Seismic, non-linear blasts).
• Knowledge of pre-service analysis including Loadout/Sea transportation and sea-fastening schemes.
• Experience with jacket float over analysis and FPSO/FLNG topsides modules.
• Understanding of bolted and welded connections; ability to review drawings and MTO.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 6–12 engineers on offshore structural projects.
• Perform high-end analysis and approve structural drawings, WCR and MTO.
• Plan loadout, sea transportation, lift schemes for large modules.
• Oversee jacket/floor system modifications and installation feasibility.

Job description

• Experienced in Offshore Green field projects (Jackets & Topsides for Well head, LQ, Riser, Platform & Process platforms) as Lead or Area Lead
• Experienced in Jacket Brown field modifications (Clamped Boat landings, Jacket walkway, Riser clamps, Riser Protector) including installation feasibility and schemes.
  Experienced in performing high end analysis like Spectral Fatigue Analysis, Pushover/Seismic analysis of Jacket structures, Non-linear blasts.
• Experienced in performing Pre-Service analysis such as Loadout/Sea transportation and Lift, analysis of large modules including sea-fastening schemes.
• Experienced in performing Jacket float over analysis. Experienced in FPSO/FLNG topsides modules.
  Experienced in Bolted and Welded connections.
  Hands on experience in use of software such as SACS, STAAD Pro
• Experience with ANSYS/ USFOS /Grl WEAP /MOSES preferable
  Reviewing and Approving Structural drawings, WCR and MTO
  Able to lead a team of 6 – 12 team members
