Job summary

Questhiring is seeking a Senior Principal Engineer – iOS to lead architecture and development of next-generation mobile experiences for millions of users. You will drive technical excellence and shape mobile strategy in a fast-growing environment.

You will mentor senior engineers, define architecture, and ensure scalable, reliable iOS applications while collaborating with product, design, backend, data, and business teams to deliver impactful customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 11–15 years of software engineering experience, with at least 8+ years focused on iOS application development.
• Proven experience building and launching products from 0 to 1 in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong background in consumer internet B2C products serving large user bases.
• Deep expertise in Swift, iOS SDK, UIKit, and modern iOS development frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software architecture patterns such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, Modular Architecture, and Dependency Injection.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and release management.
• Proven ability to influence engineering direction across teams and organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end architecture and development of large-scale iOS applications.
• Drive the technical vision and roadmap for iOS platforms, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance.
• Build products from concept to launch, including defining architecture, development practices, and engineering standards.
• Solve complex technical challenges related to scale, performance, reliability, security, and user experience.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Backend, Data, and Business teams to deliver impactful customer experiences.
• Establish best practices around software design, code quality, testing, CI/CD, observability, and release management.
• Lead technical reviews, architectural discussions, and critical decision-making processes.
