About the Role

The Principal FE Engineer is responsible to provide technical leadership to several FE engineers, be hands on, and deliver a long term roadmap for the Yubi Wealth platform(Bonds/FDs/MFs etc) charter achieving a high velocity, without compromising on quality/process standards.

Able to design UI framework and components, review a design, review code and maintain a high quality bar for the Yubi Wealth platform(Bonds/FDs/MFs etc) including the design, user experience, API contracts, and business logic to ensure that the product is easy-to-use, appealing and effective.

Responsibilities

Track record of building a successful product and technically leading teams for at least 4 years.

Effectively run and lead multiple high performance engineering teams, defining processes and ensuring adherence to the processes.

Participate in code & design reviews and setup best practices in software design and development

Serve as a mentor to junior engineers and cultivate innovation in the team.

Lead the design and development of the pod’s software components and systems.

Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies and processes for the pod and drive adoption to ensure high quality products

Participate in technical hiring activities to tap the best talent for the Yubi group.

Requirements

Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer science, 10 years of proven experience

Must have built a responsive, performant, FE for an application which has been used by a large number of users.

Demonstrated success at leading teams technically.

At least 2 years hands-on architectural or distributed systems experience

A strong track record of project delivery; must have delivered at least 1 non-trivial product to production and seen realized business impact.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences.

An entrepreneurial spirit combined with strong programming, product management and process management skills.
