Job summary

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend engineering and distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and REST API design.
• Experience building scalable backend platforms for payment processing (Wire, ACH, RTP).
• Proven ability to lead design discussions and drive architecture decisions for complex systems.
• Experience with event-driven architectures using Kafka or similar.
• Familiarity with API management platforms, ideally IBM APIC.
• Hands-on containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to frontend technologies (React/Angular/Vue) for collaboration.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Java & Backend Engineering: Strong hands‑on Java development, Spring Boot, and enterprise backend processing.
• US Payment Systems: Practical experience with Wire transfers, ACH, and RTP payment processing.
• API & Microservices Architecture: Advanced REST API design, API integration, and microservices development.
• Distributed Systems: Strong understanding of concurrency, multithreading, thread safety, and high‑throughput processing.
• System Design: Ability to lead architecture discussions and design scalable, resilient, highly available systems.
