Job summary

Cadence Design Systems in Hyderabad seeks a senior engineer to lead advanced PDN/IR/EM signoff. You will drive static/dynamic IR-drop analysis, optimize PDN, and automate signoff processes while collaborating across cross-functional teams.

The role requires 7+ years of relevant experience, hands-on tool expertise, and strong scripting capabilities. This is a full-time, on-site position with Cadence’s global support network.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in IR/EM/PDN signoff across 7nm → 3nm nodes.
• Hands-on experience with Voltus/RedHawk-SC and Innovus/ICC2 environments.
• Strong scripting and automation background (Python/TCL/Perl).
• Understanding of placement, routing, congestion, timing ECOs and PG integrity.

Responsibilities

• Perform static/dynamic IR-drop and EM analysis using tools like Voltus‑SC and RedHawk‑SC.
• Drive IREM fixes during PnR and PV signoff cycles.
• Optimize full‑chip and block‑level PDN, including PG mesh and RDL structures.
• Develop automation scripts (TCL/Python/Perl/Shell) to improve signoff efficiency and reduce TAT.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve IR hot spots, EM‑violating nets, and PG bottlenecks.
