Job summary

HP Global Services in Bengaluru seeks a Principal - Data & AI to drive innovation by applying cutting-edge data, AI, and ML modelling to strategic business problems. You will define AI solutions, collaborate with Data Science leaders, and present findings to senior stakeholders.

The role leads cross-organizational data science projects, mentors staff, and ensures production-grade deployments with CI/CD and observability.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. degree in Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of work experience, preferably in data analytics, statistical modeling, machine learning, AI or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark and SQL Programming.
• Experience with Databricks for data processing and feature engineering.
• Familiarity with NLP and GenAI concepts, LLMs, prompt engineering, vector databases, and RAG.
