Job Title: Principal Cloud Network Architect

Employment Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide operational support for enterprise/carrier-grade networks.
2. Design and manage Layer 2/3 networking using BGP, OSPF, and IS-IS.
3. Architect and evolve data center environments, integrating with AWS Cloud.
4. Enhance security using firewalls, DMZ zoning, VLANs, and load balancers.
5. Apply deep understanding of IPv4/IPv6, subnetting, and the OSI model.
6. Implement network automation and contribute to DevOps CI/CD processes.
7. Collaborate with application developers to resolve network configuration issues.
8. Mentor junior engineers and drive cloud migration strategies.
9. Work with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, DLP, and Cloud Security platforms.
10. Utilize tools like GitLab, Linux, and AWS in hybrid and cloud-native environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. 14+ years in network operations; 7+ in enterprise or carrier-grade networks.
2. Expertise in routing/switching (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS).
3. Proven experience with cloud and hybrid cloud (AWS preferred).
4. Deep knowledge of network security, automation, and DevOps tools.
5. Familiarity with SIEM, Firewalls, and Cloud Security strategies.
