MiniMed is seeking a Principal Cloud Engineer to design, build, and operate core cloud foundations with a focus on AWS, while supporting Azure and GCP. You’ll develop automated, scalable platform services, establish IaC practices with Terraform, and drive reliable, secure deployments across multi-cloud environments.
Collaborate with Architecture, Security, and Operations, advance observability, and enable platform self-service through standardized components and pipelines.
At MiniMed, you can begin a lifelong career of exploration and innovation, while helping make a difference in the lives of people living with diabetes around the globe. You'll lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation for a more connected, compassionate world.
The Cloud Engineer designs, builds, and operates core cloud platform capabilities with a primary focus on AWS, while supporting Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) where required. This role is responsible for delivering standardized, automated, and reusable cloud foundations-such as account provisioning, identity integration, networking baselines, and deployment pipelines-that enable application teams to move quickly without compromising security, governance, or reliability.
The Cloud Engineer works closely with Cloud Engineering, Architecture, Security, and Operations to translate architectural standards into durable platform services. The emphasis is on automation-first delivery, infrastructure-as-code, and building platforms that scale through consistency rather than manual effort.
