Qualifications

• 12–15 years of experience in security architecture or related leadership roles.
• Expertise in designing Zero Trust security architectures and IAM solutions.
• Deep knowledge of PKI, mTLS, JWT, certificate-based authentication and trust federation.
• Experience securing cloud-native, distributed, edge, mobile, and on-prem platforms.
• Strong in threat modeling, risk assessments, architecture reviews, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern end-to-end security architecture across device, edge, cloud, and on-prem environments.
• Design and implement Zero Trust architectures with workload identity, PKI, mTLS, JWT, and trust federation.
• Architect authentication, authorization, secrets management, credential lifecycle, and privileged access controls.
• Establish secure identity frameworks for users, workloads, services, apps, and AI agents.
• Lead threat modeling for distributed systems, AI platforms, APIs, and edge-to-cloud Views.
• Develop security strategies for AI-powered platforms, orchestrations, APIs, plugins, and model interactions.
• Define security controls for Generative AI, RAG, and AI orchestration frameworks.
• Conduct architecture reviews and risk assessments; establish governance standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering to integrate security controls into architectures; drive SSDLC/DevSecOps.

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal AI Security Architect to lead the design and governance of security architecture across cloud, edge, on-premises, and mobile environments. This role will drive Zero Trust security strategies, secure AI and distributed systems, and establish robust identity, access management, and data protection frameworks. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with engineering, platform, and architecture teams to build secure, scalable, and compliant AI-powered solutions while ensuring security is embedded throughout the technology lifecycle

• Define and govern end-to-end security architecture across device, edge, on-premises, cloud, and hybrid ecosystems.
• Design and implement Zero Trust security architectures leveraging workload identity, PKI, mTLS, JWT, hardware-backed credentials, and trust federation.
• Architect authentication, authorization, secrets management, credential lifecycle management, and privileged access controls.
• Establish secure identity frameworks for users, workloads, services, applications, and AI agents.
• Lead threat modeling activities for distributed systems, AI/ML platforms, APIs, multi-agent systems, and edge-to-cloud communications.
• Develop security strategies for AI-powered platforms, intelligent agents, orchestration engines, APIs, plugins, tools, registries, and model interactions.
• Define security controls for Generative AI, Agentic AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI orchestration frameworks.
• Conduct architecture reviews and security assessments to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Establish enterprise-wide security governance standards, design patterns, and best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to integrate security controls into application and infrastructure architectures.
• Drive implementation of secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) practices and DevSecOps methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with security regulations, industry standards, and enterprise governance requirements.
• Define data protection, encryption, tokenization, and privacy strategies across AI and distributed environments.
• Support incident response preparation, security investigations, and threat mitigation initiatives.
• Guide security modernization initiatives across cloud-native and distributed technology platforms.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to security and engineering teams.

ExpertiseYou'llBring:

• 12 to 15 years of experience in Security Architecture, Enterprise Security Engineering, Platform Security, or Cybersecurity Leadership roles.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing Zero Trust security architectures.
• Strong experience with authentication, authorization, identity and access management (IAM), and federated identity solutions.
• Deep knowledge of PKI, mTLS, JWT, certificate-based authentication, and trust federation architectures.
• Extensive experience securing cloud-native, distributed, edge, mobile, and on-premises platforms.
• Strong understanding of workload identity, secrets management, credential lifecycle management, and privileged access controls.
• Experience working with trust federation frameworks such as SPIFFE/SPIRE or equivalent technologies.
• Hands-on experience conducting threat modeling, risk assessments, architecture reviews, and security governance initiatives.
• Strong expertise in securing APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and service-to-service communications.
• Knowledge of AI/ML security, Generative AI security, Agentic AI, RAG architectures, and multi-agent ecosystems.
• Experience implementing security controls for AI models, orchestration platforms, vector databases, prompts, and inference services.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes security, container security, cloud platform security, and infrastructure hardening.
• Experience securing software supply chains and implementing secure development and deployment practices.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps, vulnerability management, compliance frameworks, and security monitoring.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Ability to influence enterprise security strategy and collaborate with engineering, architecture, and business leadership teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale security transformation and modernization initiatives.
