Job summary

Persistent Systems is looking for an Associate Senior Manager - Information Security with strong experience in internal audit, IT audit, or information security audit. This role focuses on conducting audits of AI systems across the AI lifecycle including design, development, deployment, and monitoring.

We are looking for a Seasoned Professional with strong experience in Internal audit, IT Audit, or Information security Audit, along with hands-on exposure to AI systems and AI/ML models.

The role involves conducting audits and assessments across the end- to end AI lifecycle, including design, development, deployment, and monitoring of AI Solution.

What You’ll Do

• Plan and execute riskbased audits of AI systems and AI use cases.
• Define AI audit scope, audit programs, and testing methodologies.
• Perform design and operating effectiveness testing of AIrelated controls.
• Independently review AI Impact Assessments and AI Risk Assessments.
• Validate audit evidence related to AI inventory, approvals, logging, monitoring, and change management.
• Identify audit observations, assess risk severity and materiality, and prepare audit reports.
• Track remediation actions and validate closure evidence.
• Support internal, external and customer audits involving AI systems.
• Drive continuous audit readiness and early identification of AI control gaps

Expertise You’ll Bring

• Strong experience in Internal Audit, IT Audit, or Information Security Audit.
• Handson experience in implementing or auditing AI systems, including AI/ML models, automated decision systems, or enterprise AI platforms.
• Experience conducting audits or assessments across the AI lifecycle (design, development, deployment, monitoring).
• Experience with management system audits (ISObased preferred).
• Solid understanding of AIrelated risks, including:
• Data privacy and security
• Model lifecycle and change management
• Bias, fairness, and transparency risks
• Strong capability in control testing, evidence validation, and risk assessment.
• Excellent documentation and audit reportwriting skills.
• Ability to independently challenge control effectiveness and provide evidencebased conclusions.
• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Security, Audit, Risk, or Compliance.
