Job summary

Indegene is seeking an experienced PMO professional to support strategic execution across a portfolio of software and digital initiatives. The role drives governance, planning, executive reporting, portfolio tracking, and cross-functional coordination to improve execution rigor and accelerate delivery of key business priorities.

The candidate should have 12+ years of experience, including 6+ years in PMO/Program/Portfolio Management, and a strong background in Agile and traditional project

Qualifications

• 12+ years of overall experience with 6+ years in PMO/Program/Portfolio Management.
• Experience in medical devices, healthcare, software, or digital transformation preferred.
• Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency with portfolio management tools.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end program and portfolio governance activities.
• Drive planning, tracking, risk management, dependency management, and milestones.
• Prepare executive dashboards, status reports, KPI reviews, and leadership decks.
• Facilitate portfolio reviews, operating mechanisms, and stakeholder communications.
• Coordinate across engineering, product, quality, regulatory, and business teams.
• Track actions, decisions, risks and ensure timely closure.
• Support resource planning, capacity management, and cross-portfolio optimization.
• Drive PMO process improvements and modernization initiatives.
• Provide data-driven insights to leadership for decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end program and portfolio governance activities.
• Drive planning, tracking, risk management, dependency management, and milestone execution.
• Prepare executive dashboards, status reports, KPI reviews, and leadership presentations.
• Facilitate portfolio reviews, operating mechanisms, and stakeholder communications.
• Coordinate across engineering, product, quality, regulatory, and business teams.
• Track action items, decisions, risks, and ensure timely closure.
• Support resource planning, capacity management, and cross-portfolio optimization.
• Drive continuous improvement and modernization initiatives across PMO processes.
• Provide data-driven insights to leadership for decision-making.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, or related field.
• 12+ years of overall experience with at least 6+ years in PMO, Program Management, or Portfolio Management.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and traditional project management methodologies.
• Experience managing large cross-functional programs and stakeholder groups.
• Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar portfolio management tools.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification.
• Experience supporting software product development or digital transformation programs.
• Experience with portfolio governance, executive reporting, and strategic planning.
