About the Role
Primary Teachers are central to Peepul’s school network. They take full ownership of students’ learning and well‑being, deliver structured and engaging lessons, and work closely with parents and colleagues to ensure every child makes meaningful progress. The role demands strong classroom practice, high expectations, and a deep commitment to equity and child‑centered education.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons aligned to student needs
- Ensure student well‑being, attendance, behaviour, and learning progress
- Track, assess, and report student progress using data and observations
- Plan and deliver remedial support for students requiring additional help
- Engage parents as partners in children’s learning
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan instruction and improve practice
- Participate in school events, trips, and co‑curricular activities
- Actively engage in ongoing training, feedback, and professional development
- Support broader school operations as directed by academic leadership
Qualifications & Role Requirements
- Education: B.El.Ed preferred; or Diploma in Elementary Education / NTT; CTET or other TET desirable
- Experience: 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably with diverse learner groups
- Skills & Values: Strong commitment to child safety, equity, inclusion, and respectful community engagement
- Language: Proficiency in English and Hindi
