Job description

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and qualified Primary School Teacher to join our school. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong classroom management abilities, and a passion for teaching young learners. The teacher will be responsible for creating an engaging, safe, and supportive learning environment for primary school students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach primary-level students according to the school's prescribed curriculum and academic plan.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, interactive, and age-appropriate lessons.
  • Teach subjects such as English, Mathematics, Environmental Studies (EVS), Hindi, General Knowledge, and basic Computer/ICT skills, as assigned.
  • Develop students' foundational skills in reading, writing, mathematics, communication, and logical thinking.
  • Use creative teaching methods, activities, stories, games, demonstrations, and practical examples to make learning interesting.
  • Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, classroom activities, and teaching materials.
  • Conduct regular tests, assessments, classwork, and homework evaluation.
  • Monitor students' academic progress and identify areas requiring additional support.
  • Provide individual attention and remedial support to students when required.
  • Maintain a positive, disciplined, inclusive, and child-friendly classroom environment.
  • Encourage students to participate in academic, cultural, sports, and extracurricular activities.
  • Develop students' communication skills, confidence, creativity, discipline, and social skills.
  • Maintain attendance records, academic records, assessment reports, and other required documentation.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' academic performance, behavior, attendance, and overall development.
  • Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, school events, workshops, celebrations, and extracurricular activities.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and school management to support students' overall development.
  • Follow school policies, safety guidelines, academic standards, and classroom procedures.
  • Use smart-class, digital learning resources, and educational technology where appropriate.
