Job summary

Sperton Global AS is seeking a seasoned Substation Engineer to design AIS/GIS substations up to EHV levels and prepare layouts, sections, and cable routing. You will perform grounding, lightning protection, and review BOMs, RFQs, and vendor offers.

The role requires hands-on experience with AutoCAD/Revit and adherence to IEC/IEEE standards, with collaboration across internal teams, vendors, and customers for technical reviews.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of relevant Substation Primary Design experience.
• Strong experience in AIS/GIS substation design.
• Exposure to EHV/HV substations.
• Hands-on knowledge of: Primary equipment layout, Section/elevation drawings, Earthing/grounding, Lightning protection, Cable routing.
• Equipment specifications, BOM/RFQ preparation, Vendor offer evaluation.
• Good knowledge of IEC/IEEE standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit.

Preferred Candidate
