Job summary

PwC Acceleration Center India seeks a Pricing Technology Functional Consultant- Senior Associate to enhance client pricing strategies using innovative technology. You will engage with clients, guide junior team members, and deliver pricing solutions aligned with PwC methodologies.

You will work across advisory, assurance, tax and business services to shape pricing outcomes, leveraging data, analytics and industry insights for diverse engagements.

Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent with focus on Sales/Marketing/Strategy/Analytics.
• 5-8 years of pricing, analytics or strategy experience across multiple clients.
• Strong understanding of profit margins, cost structures and revenue models.
• Experience with pricing methodologies like value-based, cost-plus and dynamic pricing.
• Ability to identify pricing and monetization opportunities to drive profitability.
• Data analysis, forecasting and reporting capabilities.
• Experience building and presenting forecasting models, dashboards and reports.
• Proficiency in MS Office and analytics/BI tools.
• Familiarity with PriceFX, Zuora, Veeva, Enterra Solutions and nCino is advantageous.

As a Pricing Technology Functional Consultant- Senior Associate, you will engage with clients to enhance their pricing strategies and profitability through innovative technology solutions. Within our Commercial & Service Excellence practice, you will be at the forefront of transforming client engagements by leveraging your skills in customer consulting and pricing technology. This role offers the chance to work directly with clients, providing insights and solutions that drive their business forward.

Responsibilities

Pricing & Profitability

Pricing/revenue model strategy, Price setting and value‑based pricing, Transaction price management, Customer portfolio profitability and optimization, Rebate, discount and trade promotion effectiveness

• Sales and Pricing Enablement tools, namely, Pricefx (Must), Vendavo, Conga pros, Salesloft and other similar tools
• Data & Analytics: Data strategy, Data‑analytics transformation, Data analysis

What You Must Have

• 5-8 years of experience in developing pricing models and strategies across multiple clients.
• Solid understanding of financial concepts including profit margins, cost structures, and revenue models to evaluate the impact of pricing strategies.
• Knowledge of pricing methodologies such as value‑based, cost‑plus, and dynamic pricing aligned with business goals.
• Ability to identify pricing and monetization opportunities that drive profitability and operational efficiency.
• Conduct industry and competitive research to inform segmented pricing structures and policies for optimal value capture
• Data Analysis, Forecasting & Reporting
• Ability to collect, interpret, and analyze data, including financial metrics and pricing trends, to support decision‑making.
• Design, development, and presentation of forecasting models, reports, and dashboards that drive key pricing decisions.
• Expertise in data acquisition, cleaning, and structuring from multiple sources to generate insights.
• Interpretation of data using statistical techniques and presentation of detailed reports and actionable findings
• Sales & Pricing Technology & Tools Proficiency
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Hands‑on experience with BI and analytics platforms like Tableau, Power BI, and Alteryx.
• Working knowledge of R, Python, or SQL is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with sales and pricing technologies such as PriceFX, Zuora, Veeva, Enterra Solutions, and nCino is advantageous
• Sales & Pricing Process Design & Implementation
• Evaluate client pricing processes and identify gaps; drive transformation through design of future‑state processes and tools.
• Develop business requirements and support implementation of price optimization platforms.
• Leverage project management and facilitation skills to support end‑to‑end delivery of pricing initiatives and client deliverables

Educational Background

• MBA in Sales / Marketing / Strategy/ Analytics from a premier B‑School

Additional Information

• Travel Requirements: Travel to client locations may be required as per project requirements.

Experience:

2-5 years of prior relevant work experience in a Pricing / Sales/ Analytics Strategy role. Experience in management consulting and exposure to multinational environment will be a bonus
