Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks an ERP pricing specialist to configure ERP modules, act as SME for SAP, Oracle, JDE, and CRM tools, and translate business needs into system requirements to drive process excellence.

With a six-year pricing background and quantitative degree experience, you will map As-Is to To-Be processes, develop BRDs, dashboards, and collaborate with Pricing, Order Management, and Finance to deliver scalable data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, or other quantitative related fields
• Minimum of six years relevant experience working in a pricing role
• Experience using ERP tools (SAP, JDE etc.), Excel, SAS, SQL, Power BI or Tableau, report writing tools, and business process mapping software (Visio)
• Ability to synthesize data, research, and analyses into simple, concise, actionable insights
• Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills
• Strong verbal, written, project management and presentation communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
• Experience interfacing and collaborating with peers, management, and other departments

Responsibilities

• System Administration & Configuration: Configure ERP solutions, maintain ERP modules and functionality to meet business needs
• Functional Expertise: SME for specific ERP modules (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDE), CRM tools (SFDC), translating operational requirements into system requirements
• Process Optimization: Analyze As-Is processes, design To-Be solutions, lead business process mapping for standardized operations
• Requirement Documentation: Develop BRDs, SOPs, workflows, process docs and FRDs
• Support & Training: Triage system issues, perform root cause analysis, create training docs for end-users
• Reporting & Data Analytics: Develop reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to leadership
• Collaboration: Work with Pricing, Order management, and other departments to streamline processes
• Industry Knowledge: Understand pricing, revenue management, supply chain, manufacturing, or finance
• Automation: Establish scalable, efficient, data-driven processes for large-scale analyses
• Pricing Insights: Research pricing system admin strategy to engage internal and external audiences

What you will do

• Problem Solving & Decision Support: Support cross-functional teams across the company to resolve complex issues that typically require verbal, written, and visual communication with proposed recommendations presented to leadership in a simple, logical, and succinct manner.
