Job summary

Unisys is seeking a seasoned presales architect in Bengaluru to provide architecture services, input on bids, and create high-quality technical documentation for proposals and RFPs. You will help shape solution designs and cost estimates, and demonstrate products to clients either remotely or onsite.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree and 6-8 years’ relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong expertise in Service Desk, Field Services and Desk-Side Support.
• Pre-Sales skills, solution architecture and consulting, proposal development and bid management.
• Costing and pricing models; executive-level presentation and communication skills.

What success looks like in this role:

• Provides presales solution architecture services for an assigned client base.
• Provides technical input into bid proposals, projects and technical documents within the sales process.
• Contributes to or prepares high-quality technical documentation, including proposals, RFP responses and solution architecture diagrams.
• Contributes to or makes decisions about how solutions should be designed and implemented.
• Supports the development of cost elements and resource estimates as well as solution models.
• Demonstrates Unisys products and solutions for clients, remotely or onsite.
• Maintains a working knowledge of the industry and competitors and acts as a valuable resource for sales team members, clients and other stakeholders.
• Works with clients to perform implementation reviews and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical or procedural challenges.
• Provides technical feedback on equipment, systems and processes to improve overall sales performance and service delivery.
• Adheres to appropriate Unisys processes, architectural artifact requirements and the Unisys end-to-end service model.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

BA/BS degree and 6-8 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience Functional Experience Strong expertise in: Service Desk, Field Services and Desk-Side Support End User Computing (EUC) Workplace Support Services Managed Services Pre-Sales Skills Solution architecture and consulting. Proposal development and bid management. Participate in RFP, RFI, and RFQ responses Costing and pricing models. Executive-level presentation and communication skills.
