Job summary

INGRAM MICRO PLATFORM TECHNOLOGY INDIA PVT LTD is seeking a seasoned presales/network engineer to collaborate with sales teams, understand customer requirements, and design Cisco-based solutions.

You will deliver demos/PoCs, BoM, and documentation, support deal registrations and RFP/RFI responses, and identify upsell opportunities while staying updated on Cisco data center, security, and collaboration portfolios.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Cisco technologies across routing, switching, security, wireless, collaboration and data center.
• Solid understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure and networking concepts.
• Excellent communication, presentation and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to design scalable and cost-effective networking solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with sales teams to understand customer requirements and propose appropriate Cisco solutions.
• Provide presales technical support including solution design, BoM creation, and proposal documentation.
• Deliver technical presentations, demos, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to partners and customers.
• Support partner enablement through training sessions and workshops on Cisco technologies.
• Engage with Cisco account teams for deal registrations, pricing, and solution validation.
• Assist in RFP/RFI responses and ensure timely submission with accurate technical details.
• Stay updated on Cisco product portfolio, including networking, security, collaboration, and data center solutions.
• Work with internal teams for order configuration, licensing, and solution compliance.
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
