Job summary

iLink Digital is seeking an experienced Microsoft Security Pre-Sales / Solution Architect to lead technical solutioning, customer assessments, POCs, and security demonstrations across the Microsoft Security stack.

You will work with customers, sales, Microsoft, delivery teams, and partners to identify security needs, design architectures, create roadmaps, and transition opportunities into implementations and managed services.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical pre-sales lifecycle for Microsoft Security opportunities across enterprise customers.
• Understand security challenges, objectives, compliance requirements, and existing technology environments.
• Conduct discovery workshops and develop security solution architectures, high-level designs, roadmaps and migration strategies.
• Develop technical proposals, SOWs, solution documents, effort estimates, BOMs, and implementation approaches.
• Present to customers, conduct executive briefings and respond to RFP/RFI; defend proposals.
• Translate customer security requirements into practical Microsoft Security solutions and validate feasibility with delivery teams.
• Lead or support Microsoft Security Assessments and POCs, POVs and lab environments.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Security Pre-Sales / Solution Architect responsible for leading technical solutioning, customer assessments, Proof of Concepts (POCs), technical demonstrations, security frameworks, and lab development across the Microsoft Security technology stack.

The role will work closely with customers, sales teams, Microsoft, delivery teams, and technology partners to identify security requirements, design solutions, demonstrate Microsoft security capabilities, develop repeatable frameworks, and transition successful opportunities into implementation and managed services.

Key Responsibilities

1. Microsoft Security Pre-Sales & Solutioning

• Lead the technical pre-sales lifecycle for Microsoft Security opportunities across enterprise customers.
• Work with account teams and customers to understand security challenges, business objectives, compliance requirements, and existing technology environments.
• Conduct technical discovery workshops and develop security solution architectures, high-level designs, implementation roadmaps, and migration strategies.
• Develop technical proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), solution documents, effort estimates, BOMs, and implementation approaches.
• Participate in customer presentations, executive briefings, technical workshops, RFP/RFI responses, and proposal defense.
• Translate customer security requirements into practical solutions leveraging the Microsoft Security ecosystem.
• Work closely with delivery teams to validate solution feasibility, effort, dependencies, risks, and implementation requirements.

• Lead or support Microsoft Security Assessments for enterprise customers.
• Perform assessments of existing identity, endpoint, email, cloud, data, SIEM, compliance, and security operations environments.
• Identify security gaps, risks, vulnerabilities, configuration weaknesses, and opportunities for modernization.
• Develop security maturity assessments, gap-analysis reports, risk assessments, and remediation roadmaps.
• Assess customer environments against recognized security practices and frameworks such as:
• Zero Trust
• NIST
• CIS
• ISO 27001
• SOC 2
• HIPAA
• Develop executive-level assessment reports translating technical findings into business risks and actionable recommendations.
• Present assessment findings and proposed remediation strategies to technical and executive stakeholders.

4. POCs, POVs & Technical Labs

• Own the design and execution of Microsoft Security POCs, Proofs of Value (POVs), pilots, and technical demonstrations.
• Build realistic customer scenarios to demonstrate Microsoft security capabilities.
• Develop and maintain dedicated Microsoft Security lab environments for POCs, demos, training, R&D, and internal enablement.
