Job summary

TCPL is seeking an experienced prepress professional to prepare and review artwork/files before printing. The role involves checking dimensions, fonts, images, colors, bleed, trapping and print specifications, performing preflight checks, and ensuring artwork is ready for plate making.

You will carry out color separation and image correction as needed, prepare print-ready files and proofs, and coordinate with Production, Quality, Planning and Customer Service for approvals and corrections.

Qualifications

• Review artwork files for dimensions, fonts, images, colors, bleed and print specifications.
• Perform preflight checks and identify artwork/file errors before plate making.
• Carry out color separation and image correction as required.
• Prepare print-ready files, imposition layouts and proofs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Planning and Customer Service for artwork approvals and corrections.
• Ensure approved artwork/version is released for production.
• Maintain artwork, proof and job-related records.
• Support CTP/plate-making activities and ensure plates meet production requirements.
• Minimize prepress errors, plate wastage and production delays.
• Follow departmental SOPs and customer specifications.
