Job summary

SGS & Co in Mumbai is seeking a capable project coordinator for print packaging development. You will organize pre-production meetings, advise on feasibility, substrates, inks, and finishing, and collaborate with brand teams, printers, and agencies to drive high-quality outcomes.

You will manage the Artwork phase end-to-end, set timelines and budgets, monitor KPIs, gather requirements, lead status meetings, and proactively mitigate risks to ensure on-time project delivery for multiple projects.

• Experience in packaging/print production workflows.
• Ability to coordinate with brand teams, agencies, and printers.
• Strong communication and risk-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Organise and actively participate in pre-production meetings with brand teams, agencies, printers, and stakeholders.
• Advise on print feasibility, substrates, inks, and finishing techniques.
• Collaborate with print partners to conduct print trials, ink drawdowns, colour evaluations, and other technical assessments for new projects.
• Identify potential technical risks early and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage multiple projects from initiation through completion.
• Establish project timelines, resource plans, budgets, and critical paths to ensure successful delivery.
• Monitor project performance against KPIs, including timing, quality, cost, and customer satisfaction.
• Gather project requirements and ensure alignment among all stakeholders.
• Lead project status meetings and provide regular progress updates.
• Manage risks, issues, and escalations proactively to minimise project disruption.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution and project completion.
• Support print quality assessments and troubleshooting activities as required.
