Job summary

Bhavana Packagings in Visakhapatnam is seeking a detail-oriented Prepress Executive to verify customer artwork before cylinder preparation and printing.

You will check text, colour specs, and artwork dimensions, identify errors, and coordinate corrections to ensure accurate production. The role also requires coordinating with customers, sales, production and suppliers to obtain final approvals.

Responsibilities

• Check customer artwork for spelling, missing text, numerical errors, font issues and consistency with customer-approved content.
• Verify product names, quantities, MRP, manufacturer details, logos and other packaging information against the customers supplied specifications.
• Check artwork width, height, repeat length, pouch dimensions, sealing areas, cutting margins and print layout against job requirements.
• Verify the number of printing colours, CMYK and spot-colour separations, Pantone references and white-ink layers where applicable.
• Check bleed, trapping, overprint, image resolution, barcode/QR code placement and other prepress requirements.
• Compare revised artwork and cylinder proofs with approved files to identify unintended changes.
• Coordinate with customers, sales, production and cylinder suppliers to resolve discrepancies and obtain final approvals.
• Maintain artwork versions, approval records and a prepress checklist for every job.
• Ensure only the latest approved artwork is released for cylinder engraving and printing.
