Job summary

Tessolve, a semiconductor design and test engineering service company, seeks a Pre Silicon Validation Engineer in Pune with Embedded C experience and Zebu emulation skills. You will validate IPs, develop test strategies, and collaborate with architecture, design and manufacturing teams.

The role involves functional, performance and system-level testing of silicon, hardware and firmware, plus automation of validation scripts to improve coverage.

Qualifications

• Embedded C, ARM-based validation on pre-silicon IP.
• Experience with emulation platforms such as Zebu, Veloce or Palladium.
• Proficiency in testing interfaces I2C, CAN, SPI, EDM.
• Experience in functional validation of IPs like SD/eMMC/UFS.
• Hands-on with JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
• Knowledge of CPUSS, PERI, LPDDR, USB is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and document test strategies, methodologies, and test cases (IQ, OQ, PQ).
• Perform functional, performance, and system-level tests (silicon, HW/FW) and debug issues.
• Develop automated validation test scripts and tools.
• Engage with architecture, design, and manufacturing teams to ensure system readiness.
• Validate pre-silicon IP using emulation platforms (Zebu, Veloce, Palladium).

• Define and document test strategies, methodologies, andtest cases (IQ, OQ, PQ) to meet product requirements.
• Perform functional,performance, and system-level tests ( Silicon, HW/FW). Debug issues, identifyroot causes of failures, and suggest improvements..
• Develop automatedvalidation test scripts and tools to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Solidunderstanding of Key IP‘s: CPUSS(core), PERI, LPDDR, SPI, I2C, USB etc.
• Engage with architecture, design, and manufacturing teams to ensure system readiness

Experience:

Mandatory Skills: Embedded C, C, ARM, SOC, emulation platform like (Zebu, veloce & palladium) any one skill. I2C, CAN, SPI, EDM

Job Description:

• Pre silicon IP functional validation experience using emulation platform like (Zebu, veloce & palladium)
• Ability to write, modify, and debug embedded tests in C for validation scenarios
• IP functional validation like I2C, CAN, SPI, EDM, Flash (SD, emmc, UFS)
• Proficiency with JTAG Debuggers, Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer
• NPU and ML validation may be required in this project- Not mandatory, added advantage
