Job summary

MacLeods Pharmaceuticals is seeking a proactive Production Planning and Inventory Control professional to optimize PPIC processes. You will monitor country stock levels against monthly sales, coordinate with R&D, regulatory, packaging, and marketing teams, and ensure uninterrupted sales by maintaining optimal FG inventory at the country warehouse.

Responsibilities include tracking RM/PM and finished goods, managing slow-moving inventory, and reviewing projections versus actuals.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in PPIC or supply chain planning.
• Ability to monitor stock levels across Country stock vs monthly sales.
• Experience in coordinating with cross-functional teams such as R&D, regulatory, packaging, commercial.

Responsibilities

• Plan production and manage inventory to support uninterrupted sales.
• Monitor country stock vs monthly sales and seasonal spikes.
• Maintain optimum FG inventory at country warehouse to ensure sales continuity.
• Monitor RM/PM and finished goods inventory per demand and forecast.
• Track critical product dispatches to prevent delays and sales loss.
• Manage slow-moving, non-moving and obsolete inventory.
• Review monthly/yearly projections vs actual production and inventory.
• Coordinate with R&D, DRA, licensing, packaging, commercial, and marketing teams.
• Oversee daily production schedules and FG dispatches; review OTIF.
• Coordinate with plants for day-to-day scheduling, RM/PM availability and timely production/dispatch.

Role & responsibilities

• Production planning and inventory control (PPIC) (supply chain)


• Monitor stock levels of Country stock Vs their monthly sales considering seasonal sales spikes.


• Maintain optimum FG inventory at Country warehouse to ensure uninterrupted sales .


• Maintaining & monitoring inventory of RM/PM & finish Good as per demand & sales forecasting.


• The closely monitoring critical product dispatches to avoid delay & sales loss


• Controlling slow-moving, non-moving & obsolete inventory


• Reviews monthly and yearly projection versus actual production, value and quantity-wise


• Co-ordinate with R & D, DRA, license, packaging, commercial, domestic & export marketing teams


• Monitoring full Day wise production schedule & FG dispatches; monthly review OTIF (On Time In full)


• Coordination with Manufacturing plants for day wise scheduling, RM and PM availability and timely production + Dispatches.


• Harmonization of raw and packing material, it helps to reduce inventory, better consumption, improve production & quality control works.


• Periodical and regular visits to manufacturing plants for effective coordination with plant CFTs
