Job summary

CNH Industrial is seeking a seasoned engineer to collaborate with the CPM Platform Design Team to plan and implement ECOs. The role focuses on feasibility, shop-floor changes, and minimizing obsolescence risk through structured impact assessments.

You will manage ECO/ECR processes, support PPAP sample submissions, and drive FTR activities while coordinating cross-functionally to ensure timely trials and approvals. A strong production engineering background is essential.

Qualifications

Minimum 8–15 years of experience in mechanical/automotive/production roles.
B.Tech or Diploma in related fields as stated in job details.

Responsibilities

Ensure 100% participation in CPM daily meetings and track actions.
Provide updates to CPM team on issues, risks, and progress of ECRs/ECOs.
Coordinate with Procurement/Purchasing for PPAP submissions and approvals.
Work with Warehouse/Buyers on stock liquidation for obsolete parts.
Prepare and execute Fitment Trial (FTR) plans and ensure timely release of FTR documents.
Ensure all FTRs are complete, accurate and signed off.

Job Purpose

Collaborate closely with the CPM Platform Design Team to plan and implement new Engineering Change Orders (ECOs). Conduct detailed feasibility assessments to ensure smooth implementation of engineering changes on the shop floor. Analyze and minimize the risk of part obsolescence during ECO implementation through structured impact assessments.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure 100% participation in the daily CPM (Change Management) meetings and actively track action items.
Provide timely updates to the CPM team on all issues, risks, and progress related to new Engineering Change Requests (ECRs/ECOs).
Coordinate with Procurement and Purchasing teams to ensure timely PPAP sample submissions and approvals.
Work closely with Warehouse and Buyers to develop and execute stock liquidation plans for obsolete and superseded parts.
Prepare and execute Fitment Trial (FTR) plans for new parts, ensuring timely trials and release of duly approved FTR documentation.
Ensure all Fitment Trial Reports (FTRs) are complete, accurate, and signed off by the respective stakeholders.
