Job Purpose

Current Product Quality- CPQ is responsible for tracking & monitoring product performance of Noida produced tractor in India domestic & Global Markets based on WRS (Global warranty Tool), dealer feedback and other input source data. CPQ positions has key responsibility to meet the SBP Target for warranty Cost, Time to Fix the issue & Failure rate (F/100) for responsible Product Lines produced in India & sold Globally. This position is responsible for identifying the key technical issues in product, driving the root cause analysis and resolution process in conjunction with the Current Product Management team. This position is responsible for upgrading the product w.r.t Technical & Warranty spending parameters & improving as per global SBP targets to increase customer satisfaction index/NPS by geographical product stability in multiple applications.

Key Responsibilities

Collect and analyze all available information regarding product performance in the field for the assigned model range from sources including ASIST, Warranty, Quality Tracking, field visit reports, Brand Service and regional Product Support / Quality team’s feedback
Measure, analyze and report warranty performance indicators for the assigned products. This includes warranty frequency and spending trends. Complete pertinent data analysis to identify components and systems requiring fix actions or improvement.
CPQ is also Leader of Early warning team along with Platform Manager to lead the cross functional team (of Plant Quality / PD / Mfg. Engg. / Mfg. / SQE / Purchase / SPD / Brand) for any new program after OKTS milestone approval to manage the flawless launch & issue resolution in Domestic & export market.
As a core member of the Current Product Management (CPM) team, identify and correctly prioritize field Quality & Reliability issues and guide the CPM and Platform teams to develop action plans to drive fix action and improvements
He would be champion of diagnosis activities for key field issues to ensure the correct root causes are identified
Support the Current Product Management (CPM) process in driving timely and focused development and execution of action plans, ensuring fix actions are suitable, correctly validated and delivered to the field in line with expectations within time
Develop proposals for field campaigns when necessary and monitor execution once approved by working with the campaign office and the Parts and Service organization.
Support the Global Product Development process by working with the Platform team; assist in determining the strategic direction of new products in areas of field quality and reliability, fitness for use, sharing potential risk areas based on current product performance

Experience Required

Product knowledge of Tractor is MUST.
Technical background with minimum of 10 years’ experience in a Product Technical Support / Quality position, (Agricultural / Heavy equipment experience preferred).
Strong analytical skills (preferably with knowledge of statistical tools)
Logical and rigorous problem solving approach and experience with problem solving tools
Organizational and project management skills with the ability to participate in and lead cross-functional teams.
High level of autonomy/ self-starter with ability to drive results
Language skills: English, other languages an advantage.
Knowledge of Agricultural, agricultural machinery and/or CNH products is desirable.
Willing & able to travel as necessary, both within India & Internationally at customer, dealer & CNH locations.

Preferred Qualifications

Degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering with minimum 10-15 years of experience.
IT Knowledge: Microsoft Office with Excel skills essential.
