Job summary

Talent Hired-the Job Store is seeking an experienced EV powertrain QA professional to lead quality activities across OEM and Tier-1 programs. You will drive DOE, 8D, FMEA and related problem-solving methods, ensuring robust design and process validation and thorough quality documentation.

The role requires 4–7 years hands-on EV powertrain experience, with strong knowledge of SOPs, PFD/QCPC/JES and field issue resolution. Prior experience in MIS and manpower planning is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years hands-on experience in EV/powertrain quality for OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers.
• Expertise in EV powertrain manufacturing and quality function/design validation.
• Experience with SOPs, check sheets, and quality standard documents (PFD/QCPC/JES).

Responsibilities

• Drive quality functions across EV powertrain projects for OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.
• Lead DOE, 8D, FMEA and related problem-solving activities in design and production.
• Validate processes and products; develop SOPs, check sheets and quality documentation.
• Coordinate field issue resolutions and MIS preparation; support manpower planning.

4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in EV / Power Train / Quality Function for OEMs, tier-1 automotive suppliers Expertise in Electrical Vehicle Power Train manufacturing / quality function /Design development Proficiency in process and product validations Expertise in New product establishment process Expertise in Power train line Evaluation & End of line Quality process Expertise in Power train issues diagnostics and analysis systems Expertise in DOE / 8D / QC TOOLS problem solving methodology , Candidates should have hands-on experience on Quality Standard documentations PFD / QCPC / FMEA /JES etc Candidates should have strong knowledge on Design and drawing validations , SOP manual and check sheet evaluations Experience in Field issues resolution activities Expertise in MIS Preparation and man power management
