Coforge in India seeks a Lead Automation Engineer to design and implement automation solutions for Group Management, Distribution Lists, and Branch Mailbox provisioning using PowerShell and Azure Automation.

You will translate legacy META rules, define runbook architecture, and lead automation of identity, messaging, and provisioning tasks, collaborating with AD, Exchange, and platform teams for smooth deployment and production readiness.

Qualifikationen

• 6+ years in IT infrastructure and automation.
• 4+ years of hands-on PowerShell development.
• Experience leading identity, messaging, or automation modernization projects.

Lead Automation Engineer

Lead the design and implementation of automation solutions for Group Management, Distribution Lists, and Branch Mailbox provisioning by modernizing existing META functionality and business rules into a PowerShell/Azure Automation-based solution.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and translate legacy META business rules into modern automation workflows.
• Define solution design, automation framework, runbook architecture, and integration approach.
• Lead development of automated Group creation/deletion based on organizational structure changes.
• Lead development of automated Distribution List creation/deletion and membership management.
• Lead development of automated Branch Mailbox provisioning and permission assignment.
• Design reusable PowerShell modules, logging, exception handling, retry, and reconciliation mechanisms.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with customer AD, Exchange, and platform teams for integration and testing.
• Lead technical testing, reconciliation, defect resolution, and production readiness activities.
• Support deployment, cutover, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
