Job summary

Growth For Impact is seeking an engineer to perform comprehensive power system studies, including steady-state, transient analysis, and grid integration. You will model systems using ETAP and DIgSILENT PowerFactory, and utilize PSSE, EMTP and PSCAD for simulations.

Responsibilities include technical reporting, and contributing to business development through whitepapers. The role requires strong technical knowledge, independent project handling, and excellent communication and presentation

Qualifications

• Prior experience in Power Evacuation Studies preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge with ability to handle projects independently.
• Excellent communication, report writing, and presentation skills.

• Conduct steady-state and transient power system studies, including RMS and EMT modeling.
• Perform load flow and short circuit analysis.
• Carry out arc flash and grounding studies.
• Conduct grid compliance and grid integration studies.
• Execute contingency and insulation coordination studies.
• Conduct cable ampacity and reactive power studies.
• Model systems using ETAP and DIgSILENT PowerFactory; use PSSE, EMTP, and PSCAD.
• Develop models for Solar PV, Wind Turbines, and BESS systems.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and simulation results.
• Update and maintain study libraries in ETAP/DIgSILENT.
• Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, IS, NEC and other international standards.
• Contribute to business development through technical blogs, whitepapers, and knowledge sharing.
