Asiacruit BPO, Inc. is seeking a Power & Mechatronics Engineer to advance power systems and robotic hardware integration in New Delhi. You will design BMS for high-discharge packs, develop power regulation boards, and collaborate with engineering partners to ensure cross-system compatibility.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing of actuators, wiring harnesses, EMI/EMC mitigation, and thermal management to deliver reliable performance under demanding conditions within quadruped robotics platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with high-discharge battery packs, power electronics, motor dynamometer testing, and wiring harness engineering.
• Strong understanding of EMI/EMC mitigation and the thermal characteristics of dynamic BLDC motors.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware integration issues across electrical, mechanical, and embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Design smart Battery Management Systems (BMS) for high-discharge lithium battery packs that support the dynamic power demands of quadruped robots.
• Evaluate, test, and characterize Quasi-Direct Drive (QDD) actuators under high-torque and impact conditions.
• Develop isolated DC-DC power regulation boards to minimize motor switching noise affecting sensitive computing systems and LiDAR power rails.
• Coordinate with external engineering and university partners on wiring harnesses, voltage requirements, and signal compatibility across subsystems.
• Identify and address power integrity, electromagnetic interference, and thermal management issues affecting robotic hardware performance.
